The following is a list of dates of events, both major and minor, in Siroccan history, compiled from records from the National Archives and the archives of the Sirocco Times. Dates are given in the Gregorian and Atomic styles.

- 1987 (41/42): The land now comprising the city of Alston is acquired.
- 18 June 1994 (4 Julin 48): Premier Daniel Anderson is born.

- 15 July 2002 (31 Julin 56): The Maran District begins to form sometime after this date.
- Mid-2003 (Late 57 or early 58): Whangae, the principal town of the Maran District (and later the city of Alston), is renamed Bushmart. The old name will be reinstated within a month.
- 2005 (59/60): The North Western Passage is discovered north of Whangae, in what is today Cambria's Ackland District
- March–April 2006 (Sedan–Manhattan 60): Historical records indicate that the Kingdom of the Peebles came into being around this time.
- Mid-2007 (Late 61 or early 62): Both the Maran District and the Kingdom of the Peebles are defunct by this time.
- December 2007 (Castle/Argus 62): The first annual Spon Awards are held.

- 4 November (20 Grable 63): Commonly accepted date of the founding of the GDR, although it may have been established as late as 20 November (5 Castle).
- 18 December (3 Argus): The second Spon Awards are held, introducing a number of different categories and forming the basis for all subsequent ceremonies.

- March (Sedan/Prime 63): The fictional planet of Actros becomes the geofictional setting for the GDR. One of the first acts to follow is the creation of a calendar, which places Actrosian Andersonia in the year 2892, which is later revised to 2889 to bring it more into line with the Gregorian calendar.
- 9 March (25 Sedan): The first issue of the Andersonian Times (later the Sirocco Times) reports on the outbreak of war between the GDR and Realia. The issue is resolved within a few days, but tensions remain high.
- 6 April (22 Prime): The main government computer of the Andersonian government crashes. Hackers are blamed, but the true fault lies in a software malfunction.
- 23 April (9 Manhattan): The Andersonian Broadcasting Corporation begins transmissions in Andersonia and the nearby nation of Wellington on channels ABC1, ABC2, and ABC3.
- 2 May (18 Manhattan): The Totalitarian Union of Nations is founded, with the GDR as the leading member. The organisation seeks to unite all totalitarian and dictatorial nations within the Nations online game. Curiously, the Union is set in the year 1950.
- 1 December (16 Castle 64): The Totalitarian Union of Nations is dissolved. Despite a promising start, it has never gained prominence and has remained in the shadow of the much larger World Assembly.

- 1 January (17 Argus 64): The 2890s open to great fanfare in the GDR. In modern-day Alston, the Year Post is commissioned, with each year engraved into a wooden fencepost on January 1, or as close to it as can be achieved.
- 4 January (20 Argus): Long-standing ally Jacksonia withdraws from the Anmefija Pact, a powerful alliance between Andersonia, Melora, Fiori, and Jacksonia. The individual alliance with the GDR also ends.
- 13 May (29 Manhattan): Andersonia's alliance with Fiori is rocked after allegations Fioric spies have passed classified Andersonian information on to the enemy Alto Republic. It is later found not to be the case, but relations are strained between the GDR and Fiori until the following week, when Fiori and the Alto Republic and their alliance.
- 9 August (25 Trinity 65): The "Andersonia First" initiative is launched in response to diplomatic problems throughout the year. Borders are closed, troops are withdrawn home, and up to 80% of exports are withdrawn from international sale.
- 30 August (15 Baker): The Times announces that a new nation is to be formed that November.
- 3 September (19 Baker): Andersonia opens hostilities with the Anti-Andersonian Alliance (A3) and the Western Evanic Treaty Organisation (WETO), beginning the Andersonia-A3 War.
- 20 September (5 Hurricane): The Andersonian Times announces that the GDR is to be dissolved in favour of the new Federal Commonwealth of Andersonia.
- 21 September (6 Hurricane): The Andersonian Broadcasting Corporation becomes the Andersonian Broadcasting Service. ABC2 and ABC3 are closed down, and ABC1 is renamed to ABS1.
- 27 September (12 Hurricane): A ceasefire is called between the Anmefija Pact and the A3-WETO alliance. The A3 and WETO formally surrender two days later, ending the war.
- 3 October (18 Hurricane): Sirocco is adopted as the name of the GDR's replacement.
- 4 October (19 Hurricane): The Andersonian Broadcasting Service becomes the Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation. ABS1 becomes SBC1.
- 9 October (24 Hurricane): The Siroccan Federal Party is founded in Alston. It is the unofficial successor to the GDR's ruling Totalitarian Party, although the two share no links.
- 31 October (16 Grable): The Constitution of Sirocco, which lays out the structure of the Siroccan government and state, is completed.
- 3 November (19 Grable): The GDR is dissolved.
- 4 November (20 Grable): The Federal Commonwealth of Sirocco is established. Daniel Anderson is sworn in as Premier.
- 5 November (21 Grable): The first members of the Board of Ministers are sworn in.
- 11 November (27 Grable): Sirocco is admitted as a member of the Organisation of Active Micronations.
- 18 November (3 Castle): Provincial reforms take place. Jellicoe separates from the National Capital District, while the Tasman Districts are separated into North and South Tasman.
- 4 December (19 Castle): Near Jellicoe, a number of Siroccan politicians partake in the first official meeting of the Board of Ministers.
- 25 December (10 Argus): Halvorson is claimed as a Territory.
- 26 December (11 Argus): Castor is claimed as a Dependency.

- 11 January (27 Argus 65): The first Siroccan Microball ("Siroball") comic is produced. It depicts Sirocco and Zealandia debating conservatism and socialism, with the Slynky Empyre failing to defuse the situation. Produced toward the end of the Slynky crisis, it is perhaps the final depiction of the 'Fryendly Empyre' before its collapse later that month.
- 17 January (2 Plowshare): Sirocco, alongside regional neighbours A1, Los Bay Petros, Optima, Yabloko, and Zealandia, is present at the formation of the Tasman-Pacific (TASPAC) organisation, which seeks to join together micronations from Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia. Daniel Anderson assumes office as chairman.
- 23 January (8 Plowshare): Flooding strikes parts of Jellicoe and the National Capital District.
- 28 January (13 Plowshare): A brief war is declared between Sirocco and Zealandia, with the intention of removing incumbent Zealandian First Minister Sebastiano von Linden. Zealandia surrenders within hours, and Sirocco assumes control. Zealandia breaks away the following morning, prompting a suspension of relations.
- 14 February (2 Sedan): A new coat of arms is adopted.
- 21 March (6 Prime): The Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation begins its television service on SBC-TV.
- 1 April (17 Prime): Sirocco partakes in a satirical war with A1 and St.Charlie intended to highlight the futility of micronational warfare.
- 19 April (5 Manhattan): The cartoon series Micro High airs for the first time on SBC-TV. Depicting a number of micronations as high school students, the show is an instant success and runs for four seasons over three years.
- 5 May (21 Manhattan): Håkon Lindström is sworn in as the first Chancellor of Sirocco. A largely ceremonial role, the Chancellor serves as the head of the Board of Ministers.
- 18 July (3 Trinity 66): Work begins on the Siroccan constructed language (conlang), or en Sirokie Sprareč.
- 28 July (13 Trinity): The Sirocco Forums go live on the Forumotion service. An attempt to provide a website for Sirocco, it will not prove popular and will be discontinued shortly before the 2013 Micronational Games.
- 1 August (17 Trinity): The province of Weymouth is created on the geofictional planet of Micras. It is comprised of two portions: Weymouth, on a larger northern continent, and the small peninsula region of Sabulite, on a smaller southern continent.
- 5 August (21 Trinity): Håkon Lindström is dismissed from office, and the position of Chancellor is abolished.
- 6 August (22 Trinity): The National Centre of Computing, a museum dedicated to the preservation of obsolete computing equipment, is founded in Sirocco.
- 17 August (2 Baker): Low temperature records are set in northern Sirocco, with the cities of Alston and Ridgelow the coldest.
- 6–9 September (22–25 Baker): Sirocco becomes embroiled in the Yablokogate scandal, where the TASPAC organisation is accused of masterminding an attempt to take control of the MicroWiki community. The scandal dies as quickly as it began, but leaves a lingering sense of distrust for months afterward.
- 8 September–14 October (24 Baker–29 Hurricane): Daniel Anderson serves as one of three Vice-Secretaries General of the Organisation of Active Micronations, alongside Quentin I of Wyvern and Richard Garrshire of Berin.
- 13 September (29 Baker): The Gillies Island Dependency (now the Gillies Territory) becomes part of Sirocco.
- 11–13 December (26–28 Castle): The Otanaki National Exposition of Sirocco is held in Otanaki, Halvorson. The event showcases Sirocco to around 130 attendees, and culminates with the elevation of Halvorson to Provincial status on 12 December (27 Castle).

- 1 January (17 Argus 66): Sirocco sets its clock back 24 hours to revisit 2011 for an extra 75 minutes.
- 15 January (31 Argus): A minor dispute breaks out between Sirocco, Austenasia, and other left-wing micronations in the MicroWiki community following the formation of Theodorism, a left-wing ideology which Sirocco has criticised.
- 31 January (16 Plowshare): The Relationship and Sexual Activities Act 2012 becomes law. Amongst other things, it sets the national age of consent at 16 years, and legalises same-sex marriage.
- 6 February (22 Plowshare): The first Demand Improvement Day is held. The day parodies Waitangi Day protests by protesting nonsensical issues, including an Auckland-Northland motorway, and atomic power.
- 19 February (6 Sedan): The Board of Ministers is dissolved and replaced by a new Executive. Sirocco's eleven existing ministries are also merged into four 'superministries'.
- 6 March (22 Sedan): In a vote, a majority of Zonians vote to join Sirocco. The issue of the nation's future has led Zonians to consider joining one of several other extant nations.
- 21 March (6 Prime): Zona officially joins Sirocco as the provinces of Chai, Konson, and Zageta, collectively known as the Dominion of Zona.
- 28 March (13 Prime): In the Tent Pegs National Forest, an invasion attempt is repelled by the Siroccan Defence Forces. The day later becomes an occasion for celebration.
- 15 April (1 Manhattan): The main governmental computer is replaced by a more modern and more powerful machine. Named the 'Diesel 386' (now the 'Atomic 86'), the machine allows more for more intense activities, such as video production and higher-grade military and scientific testing.
- 16 April (2 Manhattan): Correcting a seven-year-old error, the (A5) North Western Passage, a road linking the National Capital District towns of Rockport and Ballmore, is renamed the North Eastern Passage.
- 20 April (6 Manhattan): The Blacksands Dependency is claimed.
- 5 May (21 Manhattan): The Commonwealth Assistance Programme, possibly the first micronational welfare scheme in the world, is introduced. The move is lauded by left- and right-wing nations throughout the community.
- 16 May (1 Nevada): The Ministry of Finance unveils a new series of simoleon banknotes. The most significant change is the demonetisation of the §500 note.
- 25 May (10 Nevada): The Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation, and in particular SBC-TV, begins using a 1950s theme. While seemingly unimportant at the time, it will mark the beginning of Sirocco's adoption of 1950s culture through to the present day.
- 9 June (25 Nevada): The Siroccan Libertarian Party is formed in Tre'wei. It is the first grouping of non-Federal politicians, and ends the Federal Party's total dominance over Siroccan politics.
- 15 July (31 Julin): Celebrations are held to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Maranite nations. The National Capital District expands to the south, forming a new Maran District some five years after its predecessor ceased to exist.
- 27 July (12 Trinity 67): Havilland becomes the new capital city of Wellesley, following the province's relocation the previous week.
- 5 August (21 Trinity): The Institute of Scientific Research, Sirocco's main research organisation, is founded in Alston.
- 9 September (25 Baker): Sirocco wins the right to host the seventh Micronational Games. Originally scheduled to take place in November and December 2012, delays will force the Games to take place in early 2013 instead.
- 24 September (9 Hurricane): The 2010 Constitution ceases to be the foundation of the Siroccan state. The document contains a number of flaws and loopholes that, while aspirational in 2010, do not reflect the Sirocco of 2012.
- 30 September (15 Hurricane): Sirocco exports its first quantity of foodstuffs to New Zealand. The shipment, some four to five kilograms of lemons, is hailed as an important step in the country's economic development.
- Early December (Mid-Castle): Sirocco fights a brief war with the rebellious South African micronation of Pyrocardia. Pyrocardian forces soon capitulate, and Sirocco claims part of their territory as its own.
- 19 December (4 Argus): The Atomic calendar is introduced on a trial basis. Taking inspiration from U.S. and British nuclear tests, the calendar will be the most notable recognition of Sirocco's growing Atomic Age culture.
- 21 December (6 Argus): A Melburnian man threatens to take Sirocco to the Privy Council, alleging that it has broken British Commonwealth laws by having ministers under the age of 18 years, and also accusing Sirocco of 'dumping' its Australian territories in favour of Zona, despite a year elapsing between the two events. The man later conceded he had been mistaken.

- 22 January (7 Plowshare 67): Sirocco Post is reformed into National Post and Telegraph, a Commonwealth Enterprise overseeing postal, telegraphic, and telecommunications services in Sirocco. The introduction of electric telegraphy services prompts a rush from other nations to introduce the same.
- 7 February (23 Plowshare): The 2013 Micronational Games open in Alston.
- 20 February (8 Sedan): Havilland succeeds Alston as the national capital, with the National Capital District renamed to Cambria. Sirocco's 'Auckland Era' begins.
- 24 February (12 Sedan): Rathlyn succeeds Havilland as the national capital. Rathlyn will dominate Siroccan affairs for much of 2013, although Alston will retain significant influence.
- 17 March (2 Prime):
- The 2013 Micronational Games close in Rathlyn. Zealandia tops the medal table with five medals, with Sirocco taking second place with four.
- Rathlyn and Watchman Island are rattled by a pair of small earthquakes centred near Auckland's Rangitoto Island. They are the first earthquakes recorded in Sirocco's post-foundation history, although there are records of a small jolt striking Alston sometime in 2007.
- 15 April (1 Manhattan): Greater Hagley, Maxia, Sandford, and Trinity are ceded to Sirocco by Zealandia, giving Sirocco territory in New Zealand's South Island for the first time.
- 5 July (21 Julin): SBC National Radio begins broadcasting for the first time on channel 2RC in Alston. The inaugural broadcast completes a goal set in 2010 for the Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation.
- 16 July (1 Trinity 68): Celebrations are held in Alston at midnight as the Atomic calendar enters official use in Sirocco.
- 31 August (16 Baker): Over 400 people visit Rathlyn to attend the Rathlyn National Exposition of Sirocco.
- 7 September (23 Baker): The Territory of Stirling is claimed. Located in Bluff at the southern tip of New Zealand's South Island, the small claim means Sirocco has a chain of claims from one end of New Zealand to the other.
- 26 October (11 Grable): Micro High airs its final episode on SBC-TV after more than two years. The closure of the Xtranormal animation website has left the show without production software. It will be the SBC's last production for more than a year.
- 28 October (13 Grable): Maxie Anderson, a prominent Cambrian labrador and veteran of the Siroccan border guard, dies in Tuesday Heights, Alston, aged 15 years. A period of mourning is called when the Premier is made aware of her passing the following month.
- 3 November (19 Grable): Rathlyn's notoriously unstable Internet connection comes under fire after a major breakdown early in the afternoon. Businesses are forced to close early, and domestic consumers, particularly students studying for examinations, are left without connections for hours.
- 10 November (26 Grable): Sirocco's four 'Superministries' are reorganised into sixteen smaller, more focused ministries also comprising multiple Departments focused on particular areas of governance.
- 20 November (5 Castle): Alston again becomes the national capital following the government's departure from Rathlyn. The government will return to the city on 23 November (8 Castle).
- 17 December (2 Argus): A brief, but severe storm strikes Cambria. While lasting less than two hours, it is considered by locals one of the most extreme weather events in the nation's history.
- 21 December (6 Argus):
- Following the ratification of the National Parks Act 2013, nine national parks are created across northern Sirocco.
- The 7th Spon Awards are held in Alston. The ceremony courts controversy after commentators criticise some of the winning choices.
- 31 December (16 Argus): The Siroccan National Railways Corporation is founded as per the terms of the Railways Act 2013.

- 5 February (21 Plowshare 68): The province of Kinross is gazetted, and Watchman Island is upgraded from a Dependency to a Province.
- 16 February (4 Sedan): Bradford succeeds Alston as the national capital.
- 17 February (5 Sedan): The simoleon is reformed from a fully 1:100 decimal system to a 1:10:10 system reminiscent of the former British units of pounds, shillings, and pence. The shilling becomes one tenth of a simoleon, with the new baud becoming one tenth of a shilling, and one hundredth of a simoleon.
- 7 June (23 Nevada): The provinces of Bolton, Falkirk, Hobson, Jellicoe, Trafalgar, and Weymouth, the Mill Bay Dependency, and the Muldoon Protectorate are dissolved.
- 6 July (22 Julin): A diplomatic crisis is sparked when the Communist nation of Otautahi claims Sirocco's Christchurch territories. Following pressure from Bradford, Otautahi reduces its claim to comprise the city's southern suburbs only.
- 7 September (23 Baker 69): Mashed carrots become illegal in Sirocco, with the Prohibition of Mashed Carrots Act 2014 citing 'public displeasure and dislike towards the concept of Mashed Carrots,' and noting their possible use by Communists.
- 18 September (3 Hurricane): From this date it is illegal to use citrus or watermelons for Communist purposes.
- 30 September (15 Hurricane): Sirocco's 10% Goods and Services Tax is abolished. The tax is not known to have gained any revenue for the Treasury.
- 20 November (5 Castle): Sirocco receives its first physical flag from a Lostislandic flag company.

- 12 January (28 Argus 69): Sirocco's time zones are formalised into Siroccan Time, Zona Time, and Siroccan Alternate Time; the former being a special time zone allocated for the 'recognition of a passing year of exceptional nature,' and a nod to the return to 2011 that took place on New Year's Day 2012.
- 2 February (18 Plowshare): The Community, the successor to the cartoon series Micro High, premiers on SBC-TV to positive reviews from across the MicroWiki community.
- 13 February (1 Sedan): Havilland becomes the national capital after the Premier leaves Bradford.
- 18 March (3 Prime): The National Archives of Sirocco are established.
- 2 July (18 Julin): After nearly five years, Sirocco's official website is launched.
- 15–16 July (31 Julin 69–1 Trinity 70): Celebrations take place to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of the Trinity atomic test as part of the wider Trinity 70 event.
- 16 July (1 Trinity): Manhattan Spiritual replaces Shelter as Sirocco's national anthem, and Pluto is recognised as a planet.
- 20 July (5 Trinity): The FCSirocco.org web domain is claimed for use by both Sirocco's national website and the Sirocco Times.
- 27 August (12 Baker): Wellesley province expands to claim the Manawa wetlands.
- 4 November (20 Grable): A new series of banknotes are unveiled by the Ministry of Finance.

- 14 November 2016 (30 Grable 71): A large earthquake and sizeable aftershock are felt across Sirocco.
- 28 August 2017 (13 Baker 72): Premier Daniel Anderson and former Rukoran leader Tom Turner take part in the first micronational meeting in Siroccan history.
- 18 January 2018 (3 Plowshare 72): Scooter, the pet cat of the Premier and head of customs, dies aged 11 years.

- 4 July (20 Julin 73): After more than three years of little to no activity, Sirocco returns to the micronational community.
- 10 July (26 Julin): Sirocco becomes a signatory to the Wrythe Convention, an agreement between micronations that condemns sockpuppeting, identity theft, and false claims within micronationalism.
- 16 July (1 Trinity 74): The Dominion of Zona is dissolved and its territory returned to South Africa.
- 26 July (11 Trinity): Premier Anderson undertakes a visit to Hagley, where he declares the province free of communism.

- 26 March (11 Prime 74): Sirocco, along with the rest of New Zealand, enters a full lockdown in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- 16 July (1 Trinity 75): Commemorations take place in Havilland to mark the 75th anniversary of the Trinity test.
- 16 August (1 Baker): The COVID-19 Response Authority is established to co-ordinate Sirocco's response to the ongoing pandemic.
- 4 November (20 Grable): Sirocco celebrates its tenth anniversary.
