Sirocco is divided up into fifteen provinces and territories. Provinces are generally larger, more populous areas, whereas territories are uninhabited and smaller. This said, territories such as Halvorson and Watchman Island have risen to provincial status over the years. At stages in Siroccan history, there have been dependencies, which were essentially very small territories. Many of Sirocco's current territories began life as dependencies, and were elevated to territorial status in 2014. Each province and territory is free to govern its own affairs, although the national government still has the power to make and enforce decisions.

Territories
In the past, Sirocco has had a number of provinces, territories, and dependencies, all of varying size and location. These have traditionally been dissolved (whereby Sirocco relinquishes its claim), although in the case of the Tasman Districts (2010-11) they can be split into entirely new provinces.
Sirocco has previously claimed Bolton (2011-14), Camina (2010-11), Denbigh (2011), Falkirk (2011-14), Hobson (2012-14), Jellicoe (2010-14), Kinross (2014-16), the Mill Bay Dependency (2012-14), the Muldoon Protectorate (2011-14), North Tasman (2010-11), South Tasman (2010-11), the Tasman Districts (2010), and Weymouth (2011-14).
